    Services Provided

    • + Purpose of the agency is to protect and advocate for legal rights of people in Texas with disabilities. Priorities may include violations of Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Housing Act amendments, and denial of access to mandated community service. Advocacy can include help with employment of access to voting and access to rehabilitation programs.
    • + All help includes information and materials and referrals to programs and services.
    • + Representation includes investigation, mediation, negotiation, and advice and representation in administrative and legal proceedings in priority areas only.
    • + Systems advocacy
    • + Training on obtaining rights for persons with disabilities
    • + Technical assistance for attorneys and private service providers.
